Voluminous Lash Paradise L'Oréal Mascara

I love testing and trying out new mascaras. Weather you are looking for more volume or length, each mascara has its own unique applicator and formula that will transform your lashes. Some tend to work better for your lashes than others, but its all about preference. I recently discovered the new Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara by L'Oréal and have been loving it.

I won't lie to you guys, the first thing that drew me to this mascara was the cute packaging. I was sold as soon as a saw the rose gold bottle.

I also heard that this mascara was comparable to the Better Than Sex Mascara by Too Faced and had to try it for myself.

Not only does this mascara has super cute packaging and big similarities with the Better Than Sex Mascara, it also has an amazing formula and applicator that makes your lashes really long and full.

The Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara has a fairly standard wand applicator. It's a bristle brush not a synthetic one. The applicator is quite thick and has a hourglass shape. The different bristles sizes makes it easy to catch all the eyelashes, including the short ones.

The mascara exists in 5 different versions. There is 3 different colors in the classic formula (black, blackest black, and black brown) and 2 waterproof versions (black and blackest black). It retails for 15 canadian dollar. I opted for the classic formula in black.

The formula is quite dry so it makes it easier to control the application of the product on your lashes. It does a great job of lengthening my lashes, without making them look clumpy. For a volumizing mascara, I indeed don't find the application to go on clumpy at all. It separated my lashes really well. With just one layer, the effect is very natural. It takes 3 layers for a truly dramatic effect. It layers pretty well, but you need a little bit of effort for a more intense look.

The mascara lasts all day long on my lashes without flaking off or smudging. It has a good lasting power, but taking it of at the end of the night won't be a hassle. Any kind of eye makeup remover will do the job at fully taking off everything.

The Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara is now one of my new favorites and I now understand the hype behind this product.
