The Personnelle Brush Cleaner is an egg shaped tool that is used to deep clean your makeup brushes. It retails for 5 canadian dollar and can be found in any Jean Coutu pharmacy. It is affordable, compact, easy to use and most importantly effective.

This tool has two textures. The small silicone bristles located on top are used to foam and lather while the grooves on the bottom are used to deep clean. The smaller bristles are also ideal for eye brushes, for extra gentle lathering.

The egg fits perfectly in your palm, making it easy to hold while cleaning your brushes. Also, on the bottom of the tool their is an opening in which u can put your fingers to get a better grip during the washing process.

To get the best result, start by getting the egg as well as the brush wet. Pour a small amount of dish soap or baby shampoo on the brush cleaner. Gently move the brush in circular motions on the egg as well as in then up and down motion. Wash the brush with water and repeat the process if more cleansing is required until all the makeup residue vanishes. To finish, wring out all the water from the brushes and place them on a flat surface for drying. Be careful to not let them dry standing up. Doing this will allow water to penetrate in the brush handle and loosen up the glue thats holding the handle and the brush head together. Also, make sure to reshape the hairs before letting them dry, that way when fully dry the brush hairs aren't out of place.
