My least favourite part about wearing makeup is having to take it off at the end of the day, but because this step is a must, it's important to find a good makeup remover that actually works. There's nothing more frustrating than spending 10 minutes scrubbing your eyes and face in an attempt to get rid of all your makeup and not having it fully come off. There are many different types and formulas of makeup remover on the market and having to choose between a gel, a foam, a milk, an oil, a water base cleanser or even makeup removing cloths or pads can we pretty confusing. The best way of deciding which type of makeup remover to use is to focus on what's most important to you by choosing ingredients you are comfortable with, as well as a formula that suits your skin type. Keep in mind that there's no right or wrong choice, it's really a matter of preference and what works best for you.
I found that what I like using the best is a milk cleanser for the face and makeup removing pads for the eyes. After trying out a few makeup removers that didn't work at all, I finally found a brand that work wonders at fully taking off my makeup and I have since been hooked. I have repurchased time after time The Marcelle Eye Makeup Remover Pads as well as the Comforting Cleansing Milk and I truly recommend that you guys try them out. They are my two holygrail makeup removing products and I haven't found anything comparable to them. The Eye Makeup Remover Pads retails for 10 canadian dollars and the Comforting Cleansing Milk is 15 dollars. Marcelle is a Canadian brand and you can find their products at any drugstore as well as at Walmart. All Marcelle's makeup remover products are paraben, oil and perfume free and perfect for people with sensitive eyes and skin.

The Cleansing Milk contains 200ml of product which will last you a pretty long time. Its non-irritating formula is made for sensitive eyes and gently removes make-up, without leaving any greasy residue. It's suitable for all skin types, so wether you have dry, combination, oily or even sensitive skin, this product will work wonders no matter what. What I love about cleansing milk's is that they leave the skin feeling clean, silky and hydrated. I use to hate using makeup removers because they would leave my skin looking stripped and dry afterwards, until I found the Marcelle Comforting Cleansing Milk.
To fully remove my face makeup, I put a few pumps of the cleansing milk on a damp cloth and slowly massage the product on my face, avoiding the eye area. Once that is done I then take water in my hands and gently remove everything and then path my face dry with a clean towel.

The Eye Makeup Remover comes in a little sealed jar and contains 80 pads. The pads are pretty thick and are soaked in makeup removing solution. This product is perfect for lazy girls. Indeed, these eye remover pads are no fuss. Just wipe the solution soaked pads across your eyes and watch your eyeliner, mascara and eyeshadow disappear. The Marcelle Eye makeup remover pads make it super quick and easy to remove any eye makeup without any smudging or racoon eyes. They remove waterproof and long-lasting makeup and no rinsing is required afterwards. To get the best result I take the pad and hold it against my eye for about 15 seconds. I then gently wipe away whatever remains on my eyes.

Finding the best makeup remover is all about trial and error. There are tones of makeup removers on the market to fit every need and price range. You may have to try a few different types and compare them before you settle on a favourite, but at least one cleanser is bound to work for you. For me the Marcelle Eye Makeup Remover Pads and Comforting Cleansing Milk are the best makeup removing products and I strongly recommend you guys trying them out for yourself. If you want a remover that is gentle, that truly works and that doesn't break the bank, go out and buy these two products and you'll see why I adore them so much!
